Terms & Conditions

The Big Bang Theory competition will offer one active STARZ PLAY subscriber (and a friend) the unique opportunity to win a Trip to Hollywood and be a part of The Big Bang Theory Set to watch the filming of an episode of the very LAST season of The Big Bang Theory. This PRIZE is a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Under The Big Bang Theory COMPETITION, any active STARZ PLAY user who watches an episode of The Big Bang Theory on STARZ PLAY between the 25th September and 25th October 2018, will automatically be entered into the draw and be eligible to win the PRIZE. The more episodes you watch, the more chances you have to win.

The Winner of the PRIZE will receive the below Trip:

1. Business class flights – round trip (for PRIZE winner +1);
2. Hotel Stay (for PRIZE winner +1) at a 5-star Hotel;
3. Warner Bros. Studio Tour (for PRIZE winner +1) to include a tour of the Warner Bros. Lot and sets of other current Warner Bros. shows); and
4. Exclusive Access to The Big Bang Theory episode filming (for PRIZE winner +1).
5. Trip Duration – up to 5 days and 4 nights.

The COMPETITION, and thereby the PRIZE and the Trip, will be governed by and subject to (and therefore the Winner and their chosen +1, will be bound by) the below Terms and Conditions:

• Entry into the COMPETITION is restricted to one entry per active STARZ PLAY subscriber.
  STARZ PLAY will not be responsible for entry visa or other travel related costs (US or otherwise), insurance, taxes, food and beverages, spending money, and/or any additional expenses incurred by the Winner (or their +1) before, during or after the Trip.
• The Winner (and their +1) must (at their sole cost and expense) hold a valid passport and must hold or apply and be approved for, a US visa entry permit, valid for the full duration of the Trip. If the Winner’s US visa (or US visa application) is not in place in time, invalid, or rejected by US authorities, the Winner (and their chosen +1) shall immediately forfeit the PRIZE, and without any liability whatsoever to the forfeiting Winner (or their chosen +1), STARZ PLAY shall be free to select a new Winner to be eligible for the Prize and take the Trip. If the US visa (or visa application) of a Winner’s chosen +! is not in place in time, invalid, or rejected, the Winner must travel alone, or select an alternate +1 to join them on the Trip.
• The COMPETITION draw will take place at STARZ PLAY’s Dubai premises on 30th October, 2018, with a Winner to be selected at random by the CEO of STARZ PLAY.
• Tentative dates for the Trip are TBC (but out of necessity, to take place on a date or range of dates selected by STARZ PLAY and Warner Bros. Studios to coincide with the filming of The Big Bang Theory).
• All elements of the PRIZE, and thereby the Trip are subject to change, non-transferable, and without cash alternative. Events may occur which inhibit the COMPETITION draw or the PRIZE and/or Trip itself, due to circumstances beyond the control of STARZ PLAY, in which case, STARZ PLAY will not be held liable for such events or the intereference with, disruption, or cancellation of the PRIZE and the Trip. STARZ PLAY reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute any and all components of the PRIZE (and the Trip) with an alternative of comparable value.
• Only 1 Winner will be selected from the entire MENA region. The Winner can be accompanied on the entire Trip by a +1 of their choosing. Should STARZ PLAy be unable for any reason to contact the Winner or should the Winner be unable to accept the PRIZE (including but not limited to the Winner being unable to travel on the dates or range of dates selected for the Trip), STARZ PLAY reserves the right in its sole discretion to award the PRIZE to an alternate Winner, drawn in accordance with these rules, terms and conditions.
• STARZ PLAY will provide the Trip only for the Winner and their chosen +1. No other additions will be accommodated.
• If required, STARZ PLAY will provide the Winner and their +1 with a formal invitation letter from Warner Bros. Studio together with an official supporting letter from STARZ PLAY.
• In order to be eligible for the PRIZE, the Winner (and +1) must release STARZ PLAY (including its related companies, shareholders, directors, management, and/or employees) from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action for personal injury and/or damages, theft, or loss suffered in connection with the COMPETITION, or the use or acceptance of the PRIZE or any portion thereof (including but not limited to the Trip). Entry into the COMPETITION constitutes the issuance of such release. Notwithstanding the above, if and when required by STARZ PLAY, the Winner (and +1) shall execute any formal document or other instrument in order to record or qualify such release and their acceptance of these rules, terms and conditions.
• The Winner (and chosen +1) shall authorise STARZ PLAY to utilise their full names, city and country of residence, and other relevant information (including if appropriate, any images and/or photographs featuring their likeness) to announce the COMPETITION results via (but not limited to) STARZ PLAY affiliated websites, social media pages, press releases, and/or e-newsletters, The Winner and their chosen +1 by accepting the PRIZE and taking part in the Trip, agree and acknowledge that their likeness may be used by STARZ PLAY for promotional purposes in photographs and/or video footage of the Trip , and in so doing release any rights they may have in any such footage or photographs, in favour of STARZ PLAY.
• Either the Winner or their +1 needs to be over 18 years of age and a continued, active subscriber to STARZ PLAY,at the date of entry into the COMPETITION, acceptance of the PRIZE, and fulfilment of the Trip.
• In addition to these rules, the COMPETITION, the PRIZE, and the Trip, will be subject to all applicable laws, rules and regulations, in addition to STARZ PLAY’s standard Terms and Conditions (available at www.starzplay.com).
• All COMPETITION entrants agree to be bound by the the above rules, terms and conditions, and as to the COMPETITION, the PRIZE, and the identity and/or eligibility of the Winner, decisions of STARZ PLAY shall be, at its sole discretion and without exception, absolute and final in relation to all matters. STARZ PLAY reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entrants and/or a Winner (and/or a Winner’s chosen +1) who contravenes the rules, terms and conditions set out and referred to herein.
