Girl, Interrupted:
Angelina Jolie won the Oscar for her outstanding performance in Girl, Interrupted. Based on writer Susanna Kaysen’s account of her 18-month stay at a mental hospital in the late 1960’s, a deeply troubled child is transferred to a mental institution after an attempt at taking her own life. She befriends other women at the facility that leave a profound impact on her life.
The Incredible Journey:
Another timeless Disney gem that follows the arduous journey of three pets – aging bull terrier Bodger, spry Labrador retriever Luath, and Siamese cat Tao.
